Genetic Engineering Will Change Everything Forever – CRISPR

Designer babies, the end of diseases, genetically modified humans that never age. Outrageous things that used to be science fiction are suddenly becoming reality. The only thing we know for sure is that things will change irreversibly.

  1. How is the idea of making our cells fool and realized the cells that they are now very powerful instead of realizing them that are very old and some way it can be possible to make humans immortal or alive till 450 years

  2. Cool. And than, there comes COVID-19 and no one has god damn idea what it actually is and how to stop it…

  3. This sounds like it's gonna get dark before it gets lit….I mean caution, reason, oversight and transparency aren't some of our strong suits

  4. Imagine trying to explain this to someone from 500 years ago. Now imagine what someone 500 years in the future maybe able to do.

  5. Wouldn't life be boring if everyone is perfect? Imaging playing sims with cheats.. after sometime you actually get bored

  6. what I am afraid of is it will become a thing only for the rich, poor family will be left out, and the perfect being might not want to be with the normal beings. Even if eventually everyone get their hand on it, I wonder how many parent will pick something like "normal strength, average height, averagely smart, still not immune to all disease"? Then what if that perfect body is still not immune to one deadly virus that we do not know, so when the virus hit we all will die together because we all have the same or almost same immunity (-.-")

  7. There are 40 million people living with HIV worldwide, and I ’m afraid there is no way to wait until the birth of this technology!

  8. No one talking about the rick and morty references and the westworld-esque piano when they start talking about designer babies.. All round mind blowing episode

  9. I think. Genetic cures should be a must do, while genetic “Custmizing” should be paid. Such as, Better muscles them the average human would cost 20.000$

  10. I can see becoming a conversation to other people, we are playing God with using science, but we can make advance humans just changing their generic, it's a better known as generic editing.
