  3. I'm looking for a good video on importance of nutrition–and this sure isn't it! It goes into no detail about necessity of vitamins–only touches on them in an unconvincing way for someone who knows nothing. More emphasis is put on bioactives–which are "a big part of nutrition RESEARCH –why would more emphasis be placed on theories–things being 'studied,' that "MIGHT HELP…" I find it pathetic. I am unable to find ANY video that says, e.g., "Vitamin (xyz) is NECESSARY for such and so and is found in these fruits and vegetables. Deficiencies cause such and so physical ailments." Why on earth are there no such videos to be found when googling (youtube) "why nutrition is important?"

  5. This is a great video except that carbs are not an essential nutrient. The USDA recommends way too many carbs in the diet. You want to limit them so you don't experience a blood sugar roller coaster which causes mood swings, excess fat storage, and inflammation, among others.
