Attorney For Real Estate Brokers and Agents Brian Pendergraft talks about his latest blog post Why Real Estate Agents Should Form Their Own LLC (Limited liability company) or similar business entity, such as a C-Corp. He explains the pros and cons of having your own business entity.

  1. I do not want to sit in a brokers office even though they keep telling me I must work under a broker. If so I do not want to do real estate

  2. Hey! I live in Pittsburgh but I do have an LLC, Onyx Capital Group LLC. I established it for a different business venture I'm involved with. My question is should I have my broker pay me under my LLC or is it too late to switch since I established the LLC after I became an agent with them. Also, should I comingle being an agent and a sales rep for my other venture under one LLC, or should I have separate LLCs for each business venture!?
    Thanks in advance!

  3. Hello, Iā€™m in the process of getting my associates license in Florida. I would like to know what your thoughts are, I already own a llc but it was for another business. Should I create a new llc or a dba under my existing company? Thank you šŸ™
