Is Windows 10 Pro really worth the extra cost?

Microsoft has always made several editions for Windows. These are typically Windows Home, Pro, Enterprise, and Education, with some previous versions having things like Windows 7 “Home Premium” and Windows “Ultimate Edition”. But with Windows 10, are there really that many differences between the Home and Pro versions? This video goes into what those are, and who might be actually interested in the extra features, or whether you don’t need them at all.

  1. Had to update to Windows 10 after Windows 7 support quit January 2020. Had a new computer built and Windows 10 PRO (version 10.0.18363) was installed because I had 7 PRO and was told the programs I run might have a problem with 10 Home version. Setup looks like my 7 desktop looked which I love. Yesterday I turned on my screen (computer always on) and nothing looked the same. Found out I had been signed in as a Temp User. I fixed that (YouTube video) but now it's signing me as (first name).(first name)-PC so still have to go through Users/… see my documents, etc. Shows the latest update was yesterday Version 1909. I'm very confused, but from your video I'm glad to have PRO.

  2. I've been trying to find the best laptop for myself and your videos are the most informative and much easier to understand most. THANK YOU!!😊
